The Competence Center Records Management (KRM) launches a service for the verification and certification of digitization solutions and systems.
“Time and again, we find that there is a great deal of uncertainty about whether a digitization solution meets the legal requirements. In order to provide customers as well as providers with an independent verification, we have launched this new service” says Bruno Wildhaber, Managing Director of KRM. There is still a great deal of uncertainty when it comes to the question, for example, “Can I destroy the paper originals? ” This, he said, leads to many companies spending money on duplications that are not necessary. “On the other hand, many cloud offerings are so opaque that it’s hard for a customer to get a picture of what’s happening with their data. In the age of tighter data protection, for him, as well as his customers, that’s a risk.”
The KRM verifies legal compliance and issues an expert opinion, which concludes with certification. For more information, visit the website of the KRM
